Who will be entertaining at my event?

Your entertainer will be matched to your event. Hiring an entertainer is a very personal choice.  Make sure that it is a person you choose, not just a company name.  You should also be guaranteed in writing that the person promised will be the same person who will entertain at your event. 

At Tickers Music Mania®, you will visit with and get to know your entertainer. 

Will you play the music I want at my event?

Any reputable DJ company will not only let you make a list of music that you wish to have played, but, will also let you make a list of songs that you do not want to played.  You should  be able to provide any  music that the company does now own or can not locate.  This is particularly important when dealing with ethnic music that you would like played. 

Tickers Music Mania wants you to have the best time.  Allowing you to help with the music only helps the night  better.

How much experience does my entertainer have?

Experience can be measured in years or by numbers of events.  An entertainers personal experience is what counts, not the years of experience that the company has You should be hiring a specific entertainer, and that the person’s experience is what counts, not the years of experience that the company has. 

With almost ten years of experience, Tickers Music Mania has performed at over 900 weddings, and 142 Christmas Parties, 18 proms, and 400 + Dances etc.  If experience counts, we have it.

Do you use commercial grade equipment, and do you carry back-up equipment?

Most reputable DJ 's use equipment that was designed to handle the everyday wear that mobile equipment is subjected to.  Although a consumer grade CD player will deliver just as clear of a sound as a commercial grade CD player, they were not designed to be transported over the road. Back-up equipment is a must.  Any DJ who does not carry back-up equipment is putting your event at risk. 

Tickers Music Mania uses top of the line professional equipment, with back up equipment available.

Can you provide me with references?

A DJ should be able to provide you a long list of satisfied customers, if not, ask why.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Liability insurance good business practice.  It is good common sense. Accidents do happen, so your DJ should be fully covered.
